FO's

I've made so much since I got back to Norway! One of these days I'm gonna take the pictures and post them.

I made "Little Sister's dress", another dress that came out to big and ended up as a skirt for the big sister (and I never took a picture of it...), a pair of socks, a dish cloth, a pair of baby socks, a baby hat, a set consisting of a pair of leg warmers and a neck warmer, a onesie, a zig zag baby blanket and two baby cloths, plus I've crocheted a number of squares for my red/black blanket (at least seven or eight, possibly more).

I think I've achieved a lot! Happy :)

Hobby corner

Of course, there is a hobby dedicated corner of the living room. A few other hobby related items have found their way there, but the main ingredient is, obviously, yarn.

The yarn even have guards!

FO: Marine Baby hat

I'm in Oslo again. With my yarn and my needles! Happy knitting and crocheting days!

This baby hat in dark blue and white was started during Narnia (The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe) last night, and finished this morning. I even fastened the ends right away! Made with fingering weight wool yarn and needles 2,5 and 3 mm.

Anxious to start a larger project soon too. But right now, I will take some balls of cotton outside to enjoy the nice weather.

Enjoy the weekend!

WIP - cardigan/vest in alpaca

So, I was showing the new girl around town and decided to finish the day off with a visit to the LYS. Had decided to let myself buy two balls of cotton. Saw a couple of other yarns that got onto my buy-before-I-leave-Spain-list. And then I started leafing through the pattern leaflets. Which I should have never done. Because I fell in love with this cardigan/vest from SandnesGarn. So here I am, knitting a long alpaca vest in March, while the outside temperature is at tank top level...

What will this be?

Men Evas Garn skal slutta å selja Dalegarn. Så alt garn derfrå kosta 2,50€; ca 20 kroner pr nøste. Og i tillegg så var det 3 for 2. Altså 40 kr for 3 garnnøster...

The local yarnshop is gonna stop selling a yarn brand, Dalegarn of Norway, so instead of just looking for the yarn I'm waiting for, I ended up with a plastic bag filled to the rim with yarns on sale. So now I have to hurry with my WIPs in time to start a wrist warmer KAL with my co-knitter and yarn-shopper Cathrine. I'm knitting a pair of brown toe-up-socks in Katia Darling and crocheting a triangle shawl in Baby Merino Wool.

WIP: Fly-hekling/in-flight-crocheting

På tur heim til Norge heklar eg eit enkelt trekantsjal i nydeleg lilla baby merino.

On my way home to Norway I crochet a simple triangle shawl in a beautiful purple baby merino wool.
