Father's day gift

Large monsters

Slightly smaller when felted

Still very large for my feet.

Knitted facts:
Pattern: Felted Slippers (rav link) 25 st x 25 ridges
Yarn: Mor Aase 100% ren ull, three colours.
Needles # 4mm
Felted proportion: Norwegian size 43
Fit my father's feet perfectly! At least, so he says...

And a mini-version. 10 st x 10 ridges, and just two colours.

Last night...

...I finished these slippers. I've been working on them for months and months...

Not only did I manage to switch the colours from the first to the second slipper (the top one is correct), I also knitted a whole lot looser on the bottom slipper, so there's more than an inch length difference between them! I should probably quit knitting altogether. Except I wont. The edgings around the ancle are crocheted (sc).

Knitted facts:
Needle# 3.5 mm
Yarn: Mirasol (Du Store Alpakka), 100% alpacca
Pattern: "Futter med stjerne" (danish pattern)

When I was done with the slippers, I made yet another calorimetry from the purple leftovers. The sweet little turtle button came from a "Hemmelig Venn"-gift this spring. :)

Knitted facts:
Needle# 3mm
Yarn: Mirasol (Du Store Alpakka), 100% alpacca
Pattern: Calorimetry. I cast on 108 stitches and repeated the short rows until I had 7 turns on each side.
Finished measurements: 27.5x10 cm (11.5x4'), but it's stretchy, so it fits nicely round my head.

There are more leftovers from the pink yarn, so I plan on making a set with a calorimetry plus some wristlets. *run off to search ravelry*

WIP - Work(s) In Progress

This is what my sofa can look like on any given day.

And the corner beside my sofa.

And the middle of the floor.

Mind, these are all projects in the works. I can easily count ten... Is that too much at once, do you think? I mean, christmas is, in fact, coming closer as each day passes.
